Mitsubishi Xpander hits 50,000-unit sale milestone in five years


KUALA LUMPUR: The Mitsubishi Xpander multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) has unlocked a new achievement with more than 50,000 units sold since its local introduction in November 2020.

This achievement further solidifies the Xpander’s position as the top non-national MPV in Malaysia for five consecutive years from 2020.

To celebrate the new feat, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) is running the "Xpander Step Up To Your Dream" campaign, offering savings worth up to RM10,000.

The campaign includes low monthly instalments from RM799, insurance subsidy and trade-in offer for a limited time only.

MMM chief executive officer Takashi Sakamaki said the achievement reflected not only the company's dedication to delivering vehicles that met the needs of Malaysian families but also marked a proud moment as over 50,000 customers have chosen the Xpander.

"We remain fully committed to supporting your journey, today and for many years to come," said Sakamaki.

He said the Xpander had earned the confidence of many owners not just as a car but as a partner in daily journeys.

"We are thrilled to witness the Xpander’s continued dominance in Malaysia, especially as we celebrate Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia’s 20th anniversary this year," Sakamaki said.
