SHAH ALAM: Edaran Modenas Sdn Bhd (Emos), the subsidiary of Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (Modenas) has unveiled the price of its latest Modenas Vulcan S (ABS) sports cruiser.
Available in two variants, the Vulcan S in Metallic Flat Spark Black is priced at RM36,500 while the Pearl Matte Sage Green comes at RM37,200.
Both variants will be available in all Kawasaki dealer showrooms by end of March.

The motorcycle features Kawasaki’s renowned 649cc liquid-cooled, parallel twin engine, which is also found in the Ninja 650 and is tuned to deliver 44.7kW and 62.4Nm of torque.
Unlike any other models, the Vulcan S sets itself apart with the 'Ergo Fit' system that offers different handlebar reach, a 705mm seat height and a three-position foot-peg mounting system to allow riders of all heights to ride comfortably.
Tyres are 18-inch for the front with a 17-inch size at the rear.

Although the Vulcan S weighs 229kg, the motorcycle is still easy to manoeuvre during high and low-speed riding.
Features include an inverted triangle headlamp and a compact gauge cluster with an analogue tachometer and multi-function LCD display in blue LED backlight.
Modenas chief executive officer Roslan Roskan said the Vulcan S is one of the Kawasaki models that has long been awaited by local customers.
“It is the motorcycle that is built to fit all sizes, all ages and not only that, but the model will also help welcome edgy riders, old and new into the sport without hurting their wallets too much,” he said.
