MyJPJ app users can now pay via online banking for driver’s licence and road tax renewals
By THE STAR | 05 June 2024PETALING JAYA: MyJPJ users can now make direct payments using online banking (FPX) for transactions in the app following an update.
This includes transactions such as driving licences and road tax renewals.
Previously, the app only accepted debit and credit cards as payment methods.
To make payments using FPX, users simply need to select the transaction they want to make in the app before choosing “Online Banking (FPX)” from the available modes of payment.
Then just select the preferred bank and tap on the “Pay” button, after which they will be redirected to the bank’s login page to verify and complete the transaction.
The update to the app was originally released on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store in early May.
However, the online banking feature was only enabled on June 1.
The option for Malaysians to renew their driving licence via the MyJPJ was introduced in February.
