The 4S centre (Sales, Services, Spare Parts and Body and Paint) is operated by Ban Chu Bee Sdn Bhd, which has been selling Honda cars for over 30 years.
The centre, built at a cost of RM22mil, occupies 152,460 square feet of land with a total build-up area of 62,200 square feet. It has 20 service bays which includes five fast service, one tyre service, eight general repair and one air conditioning service.
Amenities provided are a customer lounge, an executive lounge, complimentary Wi-Fi services, a children's playpen and a surau.
"The 4S centre is able to cater for up to 100 vehicles a day or more than 22,000 service intakes a year,” said Honda Malaysia managing director and chief executive officer Katsuto Hayashi at the opening of the centre on Saturday.
“Last year, Honda Malaysia sold 91,830 cars and of this total, the East Coast region
contributed 8% with sales of more than 7,200 vehicles. Kelantan contributed 34.6%
towards this regional sales and the Jazz was the favourite among the customers here."
Also present were Honda Malaysia president/COO Roslan Abdullah, Ban Chu Bee chairman Chua Siew Eng and its managing director Lee Eng Kee.
