New Honda Odyssey begins from RM275,000

PETALING JAYA: Honda Malaysia has unveiled the new Odyssey seven-seater multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) featuring updated styling along with improved safety and infotainment systems.

Fully imported from Japan, the Odyssey comes with on-the-road without insurance but with 50% SST exemption price of RM275,331.

At the front, the Odyssey is fitted with a redesigned grille, new LED headlights with position lights and restyled front bumper for a more elegant look.

It also gets a new taillight and rear bumper styling, as well as redesigned 17-inch alloy wheels, and front and rear sequential turn signal lights.

Inside, the dashboard is also new and comes with a storage compartment, new seven-inch TFT meter and new eight-inch advanced display audio system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The Odyssey's combination leather interior with the second row fitted with Captain Cradle Seats and Ottoman features elevate the comfort and plush experience to next level.

The seats can be folded forward and backward which offer flexibility to accommodate various configurations for passengers to optimise their seating arrangement.

The Odyssey also comes with Hands-free Power Tailgate that allows convenient opening by a kicking motion under the rear bumper.

The Honda Sensing advanced driving aids include Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS), Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Auto High Beam (AHB).

Other safety features provided are Multi View Camera System with Smart Parking Assist, Blind Spot Information, and Cross Traffic Monitor.

Available colours are Platinum White Pearl, Premium Twinkle Black Pearl and Super Platinum Metallic.

Honda Malaysia managing director and chief executive officer Madoka Chujo said the new Odyssey met the needs of families and executives who seek a luxury seven-seater MPV that offered excellent ride comfort, elegant exterior and unrivalled utility features in a package.

The Odyssey was first introduced globally in 1994 and made its way to the Malaysian market in 2003 where it quickly became renowned as a premium seven-seater MPV in the country.

Honda Malaysia has sold close to 2,000 units of the Odyssey to date.
