New Land Rover Defender 130 to be unveiled on May 31
By CARSIFU | 19 May 2022LONDON: Land Rover will be revealing a new eight-seat variant of the Defender 4X4 series called Defender 130 on May 31.
The new Defender 130 will join the existing 90, 110 and commercial Hard Top derivatives.
The latest variant will be ready for any adventure with premium interior practicality for up to eight occupants, across three rows of seating.
The capable off-roader comes with a spacious 2-3-3 seat configuration, the latest digital technologies and advanced integrated chassis technologies.
In Malaysia, the Defender 110 was launched in October last year, available in two engine offerings of P300 and P400.
The P300 comes with the 2.0-litre 4-cylinder direct injection Ingenium petrol engine with 300PS and 400Nm of torque.
The P400 is equipped with the 3.0-litre 6-cylinder direct injection Ingenium petrol engine with MHEV (Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle) technology to deliver 400PS and 550Nm of torque.
The P300 and P400 have starting prices of RM798,800 and RM998,800 respectively.
Prices are inclusive of 50% Penjana Sales Tax waiver, excluding road tax, registration and insurance.
