KUALA LUMPUR: GWM Malaysia has opened the order book for the upcoming new all-electric Ora Good Cat and Ora Good Cat GT, with estimated price around RM115,000 and RM125,000 respectively.
The updated Ora Good Cat introduces refreshed styling and comfort upgrades, while the Good Cat GT delivers a sportier look and more powerful performance under the brand’s promise of "The Extra Good EV."
The Good Cat will be offered with 57.7kWh SVOLT LFP battery delivering up to a NEDC range of 480km.
It will also get a motor output of 143PS and 210Nm of torque, 6.6kW AC charging and 60kW DC charging for a 30% to 80% state of charge in about 38 minutes.
Other features include a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, leatherette upholstery, Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), 360-degree camera, My GWM (app support), and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Meanwhile, the Good Cat GT gets a more powerful motor output of 171PS and 250Nm of torque but a slightly shorter range of 460km while using a similar 57.7kWh SVOLT LFP battery.
Aside from the same safety and connectivity features with the Good Cat, the GT variant has the additional Launch Control.
Other extra features include a sporty front bumper, yellow brake callipers, GT rear spoiler, GT-exclusive alloy wheels, GT sport seats, yellow stitching accents and suede leather.
GWM Malaysia chief operating officer Roslan Abdullah said the Ora Good Cat was the beginning of the company's electric journey in Malaysia that had since become a symbol of approachable and stylish EV mobility.

"With prices starting from RM115,000, we are making electrification more accessible, while staying true to our promise — EV that gives you everything extra," he said.
