CYBERJAYA: Tesla's latest Model 3 Performance is launched globally today and available for order on Tesla Malaysia's official website.
Priced from RM242,000, the Model 3 Performance joins the existing Model 3 line-up of Rear-Wheel Drive and Long Range variants priced from RM189,000 and RM218,000 respectively in Malaysia.
Vehicle delivery is estimated at the second quarter of the year.
The new Performance variant gets an updated interior and exterior, peak power of 460hp and the "Ludicrous Mode" to raise the driving experience to the next level.
Ludicrous Mode was once available in the Performance trim of Model S and Model X produced between 2016 and 2021.
The Performance also gets the iconic red calipers, rear diffuser, carbon fibre spoiler and the ‘Ludicrous Mode’ badged rear bumper to distinguish it from other Model 3 variants.
It also gets 20-inch "Warp" forged performance wheels along with larger brake rotors, calipers and performance brake pads deliver more stopping power and consistent braking at all speeds.
With the latest technology, Model 3 Performance accelerates from 0 to 100kph in just 3.1 seconds and offers up to 528km (WLTP) range per single charge with a top speed of 262kph.
In comparison, the Rear-Wheel Drive offers a 0-100kph sprint of 6.1 seconds, a range of 513km and top speed of 201kph, while the Long Range achieves a 0-100kph dash in 4.4 seconds, a range of 629km and maximum speed of 201kph.
All Tesla vehicles are eligible for the EV Early Adoption Incentive that offers full import and excise duties exemption, along with 100% road tax exemption and income tax relief up to RM2,500 (applicable to companies leasing EV).
New owners of any brand-new Model 3 and Model Y can enjoy the HCP2.0 programme when financed through Tesla Malaysia's preferred financiers.
The HCP2.0 includes complimentary Tesla Wall Connector, Type 2 cable and up to RM300 off installation with a Tesla Authorised Installer.
