Nizra Auto opens Jetour Damansara showroom


KUALA LUMPUR: Jetour Malaysia has set up shop in the Taman Tun Dr Ismail area through its partnership with Nizra Auto.

The Jetour Damansara showroom run by Nizra Auto, which is part of the automotive and mobility arm of Nizra Group, is supported by a dedicated service centre within the area.

Strategically the showroom is said to strengthen the automaker’s presence in one of the Klang Valley’s most established automotive and commercial corridors while providing customers with greater access to the brand’s growing range of lifestyle-oriented sports utility vehicles (SUVs).


Speaking at its opening ceremony attended by Jetour Malaysia vice president Nicholas Ng, Nizra Group founder and chief executive officer Nik Iruwan Datuk Nik Izani described the moment as a significant milestone for both parties.

“This showroom represents confidence. Confidence in the Malaysian market, the Jetour brand, and the partnership between Jetour Malaysia and Nizra Auto. For me personally, this occasion is especially meaningful having grown up in the Taman Tun Dr Ismail and Damansara area.

"It is a proud moment to open a showroom in a place I have always called home,” said Nik Iruwan.

Nik Iruwan further shared his confidence in the Jetour brand was reinforced during a 2024 visit to the company's facilities in Fuzhou, China.

“What impressed me was not only the product itself, but the thought and engineering behind it. The design, technology, safety features and overall driving experience demonstrated a brand capable of competing on a global stage. I was equally impressed by the scale and sophistication of the manufacturing facilities.


"The high level of automation, production capability and commitment to quality gave us confidence in Jetour’s long-term future and reinforced our belief that Nizra wanted to be part of that journey.

“We believe the future of mobility is not only about the vehicles people drive. It is about the experience, service and trust that comes with it,” Nik Iruwan added as he reaffirmed Nizra Auto's commitment to supporting the continued growth of the Jetour brand through future network expansion, customer experience initiatives and investments in aftersales capabilities.


In conjunction with the showroom opening, Nizra Auto also launched a road safety action campaign to reflect the company’s commitment to promoting safer and more responsible road usage.

The initiative aims to encourage greater awareness, education and responsible driving habits among road users, reinforcing Nizra Auto’s belief that its responsibility extends beyond selling vehicles.

“As a company involved in mobility, we believe our responsibility extends beyond selling vehicles. We hope to play our part in promoting awareness, education and responsible driving habits that contribute to safer roads for everyone,” said Nik Iruwan.
