Omoda 5 facelift: Chery Malaysia opens registrations of interest

KUALA LUMPUR: Chery Malaysia has opened registrations of interest for the O5, which is the Omoda 5 facelift, ahead of its official reveal this month.

It is powered by a 1.5T turbocharged engine mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Interested customers can be among the first to have an early test drive for the O5 by registering at https://www.chery.my/register-your-interest-new-chery-05.

Features include new 18-inch alloy rims, a multi-link rear suspension, faux leather seats with front ventilation, a 20.5-inch integrated dual screen paired with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charger and automatic dual-zone climate control.

Safety features include six airbags, ADAS Level 2 driver assistance, and an 540-degree camera system.
