KUALA LUMPUR: Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia has officially opened bookings for the all-new Omoda C7 and its PHEV (plug-in hybrid) variant.
The company says this marks the beginning of the next chapter for the brand's premium crossover line-up in Malaysia.
Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia head Chris Tan said, "The Omoda C7 represents the next evolution of our product philosophy, where expressive design, intelligent technology and everyday practicality come together to create a premium driving experience."
The C7, powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a seven-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT), is estimated to be priced at RM160,000.
Meanwhile, the C7 PHEV features the Super Hybrid System (SHS) plug-in hybrid technology, combining a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), and is estimated to be priced at RM180,000.
Developed around Omoda's signature "Art in Motion" design philosophy, the C7 introduces a bold interpretation of contemporary C-segment SUV (sport utility vehicle) styling.
Sculpted body surfaces and aerodynamic proportions are complemented by the brand's distinctive shark-nose front design, sleek full-LED lighting signature and illuminated hexagonal lighting motif.
Its cabin features a 15.6-inch 2.5K central display, an 8.88-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated electrically adjustable front seats, double-glazed front windows and ventilated 50W wireless charging.
Practicality is supported by a class-leading 614-litre luggage compartment, expandable to 1,371 litres with the rear seats folded.
It also has a comprehensive Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite and intelligent connectivity features.
Those who wish to experience the Omoda C7 and Omoda C7 PHEV up close can visit the showcase from August 7 to 9, 2026 (10am - 10pm), at two locations within Suria KLCC:
