KUALA LUMPUR: Perodua officially launches its very own smart application available on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Dubbed a super app, the P-Circle encompasses numerous features and functions that cater to a variety of use.
While the app will play a crucial role in complementing the company's upcoming electric vehicle (EV), P-Circle's range of offerings means just about anyone regardless if they're Perodua customers or not can make use of it.

“The P-Circle offers mobility as a lifestyle as all these offerings covers a significant portion of our online services engagement under one super app.
“This diversification into tech-based business is in line with our future direction and the auto industry’s future in terms of convergence with consumer preference towards connecting their vehicles, and even homes with the Internet," said Perodua president and chief executive officer Datuk Seri Zainal Abidin Ahmad.
One of the key components is the P-Duit which is an e-wallet that will allow payment for nearly all transactions in Malaysia.
Zainal said the core function of P-Duit will come into play when the company's first electric vehicle (EV) is launched.
“This feature will be useful for those looking to own our first EV as we have made an agreement with all charging point operators to agree to accept payments from our e-wallet,” said Zainal.

He added that the P-Vehicle function will only made available after Perodua’s EV launch.
P-Guardian on the other hand is a surveillance app that works together with the P-Charge feature where users can monitor the condition of their home from the camera attached to the P-Charge.
“We foresee that this convergence to only grow stronger in the years to come, and we want to prove that we can innovate by providing all the services our customers’ needs before they ask for them – which is in line with our “We Go Beyond philosophy".

“A key component in Mobility as a Service (MaaS) is to offer drivers flexible solutions based on their travel needs and the package that we are offering fits right into that description,” Zainal added.
Accompanying the introduction of the P-Circle is the launch of Perodua's P-Go smartwatch.
Compatible with the app, the smartwatch priced at RM950 is available for purchase at any Perodua Sales and Service outlet nationwide.
Perodua said that both the media and public can expect to test their upcoming EV sometime in mid-November.
