RAWANG: The Perodua Tweckbot is back to offer its free 50-point safety check to all Perodua vehicles at selected locations in conjunction with the upcoming Ramadan and Aidil Fitri celebrations.

For Pre Hari Raya, Tweckbot vehicles will be stationed at the Mesra Mall, Kerteh, Terengganu between 10am and 6pm, from May 26-28. For post Hari Raya, Tweckbot will be available in the central region after Hari Raya Aidil Fitri celebration. However, the dates, time and location will be announced later. Customers should track Perodua's  Facebook and Twitter account for updates.

The 50-points safety check which will take about 10 to 15 minutes includes an engine check, transmission check, coolant system, brake system check, power steering system check, clutch system check, tyre check, suspension system check, electrical system check and engine diagnosis.

A 20% discount for parts and accessories will be given to all car owners who return to Perodua service branches and dealers. Another 10% will be given for customers who are Perodua Circle members. However, the Tweckbot team only carries out vehicle inspection, after which its team members would offer advice if the vehicle needs to be serviced or is due for repairs.

The Tweckbot programme, introduced in 2011, has been an annual event for Perodua whereby it engages its customers via social media to offer free safety inspections.

Perodua also urged customers to sign up for its loyalty programme UFirst, which now comes with an app for customers to gain access to promotions from Perodua’s partners and the Perodua Smart Assist emergency assistance.
