Peugeot e-2008 electric SUV heads to Malaysia Autoshow 2023
By CARSIFU | 02 May 2023PETALING JAYA: Bermaz Auto Alliance will be previewing the all-electric Peugeot e-2008 at the May 4-7 Malaysia Autoshow 2023 ahead of its launch in Q4 this year.
The stylish small electric SUV is equipped with a 50kW battery and 100kW powertrain configuration with a motor output of 136hp that provides an estimated range of up to 320km from a full charge.
The e-2008 has a distinctive styling design, including body-coloured chequered front grille and a bespoke ‘e’ monogram on the front side of the panel and tailgate.
While the interior features the iconic PEUGEOT 3D i-Cockpit with hologram technology and a state-of-the-art head-up display.
The charging of e-2008 is made easy as the vehicle can support 100kW rapid charging from any dedicated DC Charging station, achieving 80% charge in 30 minutes.
The e-2008 will arrive initially as a fully imported model.
All three vehicle brands under the Bermaz Auto Bhd - Mazda, Peugeot and Kia - will be at the exhibition.
An array of models will also be available for a test drive, including the new locally assembled Mazda CX-30, Mazda CX-3, the locally assembled Kia Sorento and Kia Carnival in 7-seat variant, the Peugeot 2008 and the Peugeot 3008.
