SERDANG: The improved, locally-assembled Peugeot Landtrek Allure and Landtrek Special Edition (SE) are at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024.
The Landtrek Special Edition (SE) is available with a range of new accessories and an updated suspension kit for sportier handling.
The Landtrek SE retails at RM129,124 (on-the-road without insurance), while the Landtrek Allure is priced at RM124,124.
Both come with a 3-year warranty or 100,000km, whichever comes first.
The Landtrek SE can be experienced at an off-road test drive section of the Malaysia Autoshow 2024 - last call for test drives is at 6pm.
Interested guests can register at the Peugeot Booth in A1 and take part in the six-course 4x4 off-road test drive.
Standout features of the Landtrek SE include new tailgate dampers, Black Landtrek Decal on the sides of the bed, and aggressive Black Wheel Arches.
The side silhouette of the Landtrek SE is now further amplified with the addition of a stylish Black Peugeot Tag Bezels, Door Visors and a Tubular Black Side Step for ease of entry and exit.
In front, a chrome-framed grille takes center stage, flanked by a pair of vertical, single Lion-claw LED daytime running lights.
The full-LED headlamp clusters, matched to a striking front bumper with fog lamp inserts and a skid plate, are designed to complete the Landtrek’s assertive look.
The true crown jewel of the Landtrek SE lies in its cavernous storage bed, measuring in at 1,630mm long and 1,600mm wide – enabling it to accommodate up to 2 Euro-size pallets or a staggering 1-tonne worth of payload.
The enhanced Landtrek SE is available in 2 colours – Rockstone Grey and Ceramic White.
The standard 18-inch alloys are wrapped in all-terrain tyres, and finished in diamond cut.
The Landtrek is powered by a 1.9-litre turbodiesel powerhouse generating 150hp (112kW) at 4,000 rpm and 350Nm between 1,800-2,800rpm.
Equipped with a 6-speed PUNCH automatic transmission, the Landtrek has a towing capacity of up to 3 tonnes.
The upgraded suspension setup of the Landtrek SE consists of new suspension and dampers.
With the Eaton rear differential lock engaged in 4WD mode, the Landtrek SE conquers any obstacle in its path.
Its approach angle of 29°, departure angle of 27°, and break-over angle of 25° with 235mm ground clearance allow it to navigate through uneven terrains with ease.
The slope capacity for the Landtrek SE is rated at 42° and up to 90% ascent grade capability in 4X4 mode.
The versatile drive mode rotary knob allows drivers to seamlessly switch between 2-Wheel Drive Rear (2H), 4-Wheel Drive (4H) or Four-Wheel Drive LOW (4L) – with the latter engineered to tackle demanding terrains such as crawling through steep inclines or descents.
The Landtrek SE's interior includes a 10-inch infotainment system, three USB ports, and Bluetooth technology with Apple CarPlay compatibility and Android Auto readiness.
There's also a 360° camera with 3D vision for optimal maneuvering.
The new Tyre Precision Cameras provide a variety of features to make maneuvering easier at low speeds.
Activated automatically to alert the driver upon detecting an object, these cameras can detect obstacles like curbs, speed bumps, and potholes.
There are powered leather front seats, and with a 1328mm width, the rear seats are designed to accommodate up to 3 adults comfortably.
Storage spaces abound inside the cabin, offering a total of 27 litres of storage space for both front and rear occupants to use.
