PARIS: Automotive industry veteran Linda Jackson has been appointed the CEO of Peugeot.

She assumes the role from Jan 20.

Jackson, a Briton, graduated with an MBA from the University of Warwick, and has spent her entire career in the automotive industry.

"I am delighted to be joining the Peugeot brand and to be continuing the work undertaken over the last few years with the current teams. The challenge is all the more exciting as it comes at the same time as the launch of the Stellantis group," said Jackson, 61.

Prior to joining the PSA Group, she had worked in finance roles with Jaguar, Land Rover and Rover Group from the late 1990s.

Linda’s first role within PSA Group was as finance director of Citroën UK in 2005. For the most part, she had spent most of her working life with the Citroen brand. In January 2020, she rose to the group level at PSA and was appointed to head up Mainstream Brand Portfolio development, to clarify and ensure the differentiation of brands with the mainstream product portfolio.
