KUALA LUMPUR: Pirelli has launched the Cinturato Rosso with Seal Inside technology, enhancing the comfort and performance of the Cinturato Rosso range with advanced puncture-sealing capability.
Designed for the replacement market, the new tyre delivers a premium balance of comfort, safety and everyday practicality.
Seal Inside technology enables the tyre to maintain air pressure after punctures caused by external objects, allowing drivers to continue their journey without immediate roadside intervention.
The Cinturato Rosso with Seal Inside technology will be available in sizes from 16 to 23 inches, suitable for modern sedans, crossovers and SUVs (sport utility vehicles).
Built on the original Cinturato Rosso’s focus on quietness, smooth handling and comfort, the new version retains its fully grooved tread pattern and noise-reducing central rib design, while adding an internal sealing layer.
The performance goals of the Cinturato Rosso tyre are achieved within a shorter development cycle, thanks to Pirelli's innovative research and development (R&D) approach.
Enabled by virtual development techniques and artificial intelligence that optimise design and material selection, along with virtual prototype testing as a key phase in the development process, this method delivers enhanced performance in less time while significantly reducing the need for physical tyre prototypes.
