Porsche Centre Johor Bahru officially opens

JOHOR BARU: Porsche Centre Johor Bahru has officially opened its doors and is ready to serve with its state-of-the-art features.

The RM28mil three-storey facility is a 4S centre (sales, service, spare parts and spray-paint) located in Danga Bay, Johor Baru and occupies a 5,412-sq m area while housing nine service bays.

The facility features a modular architecture dubbed "Destination Porsche" which includes a new model highlight display, E-Performance, Porsche Classic, the Fitting Lounge, Delivery Bay and a Certified Pre-owned cars area.

Visitors to the centre are able to hone their racing skills at the e-sports racing simulator section and even engage in a friendly rivalry among friends or someone at another Porsche Centre.

For those who own the latest Taycan performance electric vehicle, 175kW high-performance DC charging points, as well as 22kW AC charging points, are available.

Another aspect of the centre's numerous services is Porsche Classic where technical personnel who Porsche AG have trained will provide maintenance options or factory-approved restoration service.

In conjunction with the launch of Porsche Centre Johor Bahru, the latest 718 Cayman GT4 RS was unveiled.

With prices starting from RM1.55mil, the latest Cayman features a naturally-aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six engine derived from the 911 GT3 which can rev up to 9,000rpm.

Touted to possess a lightweight design, this 1,415kg (with a full tank of petrol) gets equipped with a new swan-neck fixed rear wing, and adjustable suspension.
