With three qualifying knock-out rounds whittling down the field of entrants to the fastest drivers in the nation, the event will culminate in a thrilling final championship during the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA) Round 5,6 & 7 weekend on June 8 at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit.

Sime Darby Auto Performance chief executive officer Christopher Hunter said the excitement and enthusiasm witnessed in 2024 was proof of the incredible racing spirit burning among young and driven Malaysians.

"It’s inspiring to see their passion for motorsport come alive on the virtual arena, and we are thrilled to bring back the Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Malaysia for a second year running," he said.

Hunter also said Porsche aims to cultivate local talent and inspire the next generation of racers who have the potential to shape the future of motorsports by integrating virtual and real-world racing.

"As we carry forward PESCM 2025, we will continue to embrace the motorsport DNA that lies at the heart of Porsche," he said.

This year, an extra special prize awaits those who triumph above all others.

Racers who finished on the podium during the final championship on race day at PCCA will stand a chance to win an opportunity to get behind the wheel of an actual Porsche on the track.

Winners under 18 years of age may share this Porsche experience alongside a parent or guardian.

Set on the RaceRoom Racing Experience platform on Steam, the PESCM 2025 features circuits from the PCCA tour and is open to aspiring drivers across three age categories:

· Junior Dreamers: 10 – 14 years old
· Young Dreamers: 15 – 17 years old
· Driven Dreamers: 18 – 25 years old

Round 1 of Qualifying starts with a 10-minute time-trial session, where participants can set their fastest laps either remotely from home or by making an appointment to qualify at any Porsche Centre nationwide.

When registering, participants must select a Porsche Centre to represent, which will determine their competing location if they advance to Round 2.

Qualifiers who advance to Round 2 will battle it out in a physical qualifying session at their selected Porsche Centre on the following dates:

· Porsche Centre Ara Damansara: April 26–27
· Porsche Centre Johor Bahru: May 3–4
· Porsche Centre Penang: May 10–11
· Porsche Centre Sungai Besi: May 17–18

During this second round of Qualifying, participants will receive a personal coaching session, followed by 10 minutes of practice on a pre-set virtual track.

The top 10 finishers from each category at each Porsche Centre that record the fastest lap times from a 10-minute time trial will then make it to the final qualifiers happening from May 25–26 at Bangsar Shopping Centre.

During the final qualifying round, the public are invited to witness the intensity and rally behind their favourite rising sim racers as they compete with the best of the best from their respective categories.

The top 10 finalists from each category will battle it out in a high-intensity sprint race on June 8, set against the backdrop of the PCCA leg at Sepang International Circuit.
