KUALA LUMPUR: The Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Malaysia mirrors the one-make racing series, Porsche Carrera Cup and registrations open on March 13, 2026 on pescm.porsche.com.my.
“For over 75 years, Porsche has been synonymous with motorsport excellence. Whether on the tarmac or in the digital arena, racing is in our DNA. The Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Malaysia continues this legacy, providing young talents a platform to explore their passion, hone their skills, and aspire to greater heights," said Sime Darby Auto Performance (Auto Performance) CEO Christopher Hunter.
"We hope this challenge inspires the next generation of drivers to reach even higher, both in sim racing and on the real track.”
Every participant drives an identical 911 GT3 Cup car with the same setup, including realistic steering wheels and pedals. Success depends entirely on the participant’s skills, focus, and strategy.

For 2026, the championship introduces a female-only category, creating pathways for young women aged 10 to 23 to experience the thrill of motorsport in a supportive environment.
Categories for PESCM 2026:
Junior Dreamers: 10 – 14 years old
Young Dreamers: 15 – 17 years old
Driven Dreamers: 18 – 23 years old
Female Dreamers: 10 – 23 years old (all-female category)
PESCM 2026 will run on Assetto Corsa, featuring three qualifying knock-out rounds with varying formats.
Participants must register and select a Porsche Centre to represent, which will determine their qualifying location for Qualifying 2.
Qualifying Round 1:
Bangsar Shopping Centre, Kuala Lumpur: April 18 – 19, 2026
The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey, Johor Bahru: April 25 – 26, 2026
Gurney Paragon Mall, Penang: May 2 – 3, 2026
The top 30 drivers from each category at each qualifying location will advance to Qualifying 2, held at Porsche Centres nationwide.

The fastest 10 drivers from each Porsche Centre will then progress to Qualifying 3, at Pavilion Bukit Jalil from July 4 to 5, 2026.
The top 10 drivers from each category from Qualifying 3 will compete in the championship final during Rounds 9, 10 and 11 of the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia at Petronas Sepang International Circuit, taking place on August 22 to 23, 2026.
Set against the backdrop of the actual race weekend, the finale places Malaysia’s fastest sim racers at the heart of Porsche’s motorsport excitement.
Adding to the excitement of this year’s championship is the journey of Naquib Azlan, who won the Driven Dreamers category in Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Malaysia in 2025 and is now competing in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia.
His progression from simulator to real-world competition reflects the spirit of PESCM, where passion for racing begins in the virtual arena and can evolve into real motorsport opportunities.
