KUALA LUMPUR: From May 21 to 25 May, sports car enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the world of Porsche and motorsport at Bangsar Shopping Centre.
Porsche Malaysia, represented by Sime Darby Auto Performance, will hold a stunning showcase of Porsche models, including the racing icon, the Porsche 963 at the shopping mall.
A curated selection of Porsche Approved Pre-Owned Cars will be on showcase with each vehicle having undergone a comprehensive 111-point inspection by Porsche-trained technicians.
Every Porsche Approved car is backed by a 12-month warranty and fitted exclusively with Porsche Genuine Parts.

Meanwhile, fresh from its tour across key locations in Malaysia, the Porsche 963 offers motorsport fans a rare chance to get up close with the replica of the racing icon.
Competing in world-class endurance events such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring, the Porsche 963 embodies the pinnacle of endurance racing.
Drawing inspiration from the legacy of the Porsche 956 and 962, the 963 combines advanced aerodynamics with a hybrid powertrain for unparalleled performance.
At its core of the LMDh contender is a 4.6-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, derived from the Porsche 918 Spyder and honed from the RS Spyder’s race car engine.
Twin Van der Lee turbochargers force-feed it air, and a hybrid electric system with components from Bosch and Williams Advanced Engineering steps in to provide an instant power boost.
The combined power output is 670 horsepower, occurring at an astonishing 10,000 RPM and features advanced aerodynamics, hybrid energy recovery and a specially tuned pushrod suspension – all engineered within a lean 2,200-pound frame.
With a pneumatic seven-speed sequential transmission, specially tuned pushrod suspension, redundant brake circuits and hybrid energy recovery directly from the engine’s bell housing, the Porsche 963 reflects the ever-advancing pace of modern prototype race cars.

Meanwhile, the Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Malaysia (PESCM) offers young enthusiasts — some as young as 10 years old — the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of motorsport through virtual racing.
Following weeks of preparation, coaching, and competition spanning two rounds, the top 10 participants from each Porsche Centre across all categories have now advanced to Qualifying 3 of the Porsche Esports Sprint Challenge Malaysia (PESCM).
Taking place at Bangsar Shopping Centre from May 24 to 25, this stage marks a pivotal point in the competition as these young sim racers battle for a coveted place in the final race held in parallel with the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia race weekend in Sepang International Circuit.
