Proton and Continental Malaysia in tyre services tie-up

SHAH ALAM: Proton and Continental Malaysia have team-up to offer integrated tyre services at selected outlets of the national car maker.

Proton service centres will operate as comprehensive facilities providing tyre sales, expert installation and aftersales support in partnership with Continental Malaysia.

Proton aims to have 60 outlets providing tyre services by December where customers can buy Continental tyres from as low as RM211 for the Saga model, and have them installed during their vehicle's scheduled service appointments.

Aside from maximum safety and performance, tyre installation by certified Proton technicians delivers consistent, high-quality service and assurance.

The tyres are also covered by Continental Malaysia’s Total Confidence Plan (TCP), a one-year road hazard warranty that provides one-to-one tyre replacement in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

In addition, direct lending financing is offered, allowing buyers to manage their tyre payments through affordable monthly instalments.

Proton Edar chief executive officer Roslan Abdullah said Proton’s headlines over the past few years have focused on the company's strong sales performance and the launch of new models.

"We have also been investing heavily in after sales services to elevate the customer experience at our authorised service centres.

"Introducing tyre replacement services is the next step in transforming our 3S/4S centres into complete one-stop centres.

"This reflects our continued effort to provide the best automotive brand experience for our customers," he said.
