SHAH ALAM: The all-electric Proton e.MAS 5 saw 3,026 units delivered in January 2026.
This is the highest deliveries of a single model that Pro-Net, a subsidiary of national automaker Proton, has ever made in a single month.
“Delivering more than 3,000 units in a single month is a milestone that underscores both the strength of our product. We are happy to announce that we are maintaining the RM3,000 launch price rebate,” said Pro-Net CEO Zhang Qiang.
Billed as Malaysia’s first affordable EV (electric vehicle), the e.MAS 5 was launched at end-October 2025 in two variants - the Prime (at RM59,800) and Premium (at RM72,800).
A special launch rebate of RM3,000 was given for the e.MAS 5 till end-2025, which brought prices down to RM56,800 and RM69,800 respectively.
The e.MAS 5 offers a WLTP range of up to 325km, and fast DC charging.
Features include a 14.6‑inch FHD display head unit, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-language voice command in English and Malay, the Proton e.MAS app and Integrated Live Charging Map.
The cabin is said to offer C-segment spaciousness, a 375-litre boot, 70-litre frunk, and multiple storage solutions.
