Proton offers 30% EV charging discount for Hari Raya

SUBANG JAYA: Proton e.MAS 7 and smart owners are in for a treat.

Pro-Net is offering a 30% discount on EV charging fees from March 29 to April 7 to celebrate Hari Raya.

The move by the Proton subsidiary is aimed at making the "balik kampung" drive more affordable for owners of the e.MAS 7 and smart range of electric cars.

The discount applies to over 85% of public charging stations nationwide. The chargers are accessible via the Proton e.MAS and Hello Smart apps.

The e.MAS 7, currently Malaysia's best-selling EV, has seen significant success with high registrations. Pro-Net said its network of over 2,000 charging points ensures seamless travel for EV owners during the festive season.
