SHAH ALAM: The Proton X70 Sport Edition (SE) has been launched, and is limited to just 600 units.

Based on the Premium variant, the X70 SE introduces 10 upgrades designed to elevate its visual appeal and everyday usability.

On-the-road price without insurance for the X70 Premium variant is RM112,800 (price is after rebate, for registration before April 30, 2026).

Buyers can add RM2,500 for the SE Package, which means the X70 SE is tagged at RM115,300.

Proton says that cumulatively, the product upgrades to the X70 SE deliver RM6,000 worth of added value.

For the exterior, the model adopts a more assertive stance with a full aerokit that includes front, side, and rear skirts.

This is further complemented by black 19-inch alloy wheels and exclusive Sport Edition badging.

Within the cabin, red stitching accents are applied to the steering wheel and armrest, while the seats feature red stitching with embroidered Sport Edition logos.

A boot tray is also included, enhancing practicality for daily use.

Every purchase of the X70 SE comes with Proton’s exclusive launch package.

This includes:

  • Pro-Warranty – five-year warranty with unlimited mileage, along with six times free labour service

Powering the X70 SE is Proton’s i-GT four-cylinder 1.5TD engine, paired with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission.

Inside, there is a 12.3-inch infotainment head unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, supported by the “Hi Proton” voice command system and Proton Link 2.0 app for digital integration.
