SHAH ALAM: Puspakom Sdn Bhd has announced rate adjustments to its mobile services, effective April 1.
The rate adjustments will only affect the charges for Mobile Van Services (MVS) and Mobile Truck Services (MTS).
Puspakom CEO Mahmood Razak Bahman said the rate adjustments were made after a thorough study.
“The new rates for mobile services will apply to MTS and MVS. Customers who bring their vehicles to Puspakom branches will not be affected by this change," said Mahmood.
"The change is in line with the increase in the operational costs of our mobile services. However, the vehicle inspection fee remains unchanged," added Mahmood.
The comparison between the current and new service charges for MTS and MVS are as per the following table:
Puspakom’s MTS provides inspection services to companies with large fleets, such as commercial vehicle operators, freight forwarding companies, driving schools and vehicle dealers.
Meanwhile, MVS offer inspections for private vehicles, including transfer of ownership, expired road tax, and registration of imported vehicles.
Both services provide convenience to customers by allowing inspections at their preferred locations without the need to visit Puspakom branches.
The last review of service charges was conducted in 2007.
