JOHOR BARU: Puspakom’s Johor Baru branch has been closed temporarily beginning Sunday after one of its workers tested positive for Covid-19.

Puspakom said in a statement that they would inform the public when the branch would reopen at a later date.

Meanwhile the affected worker has been quarantined at a government hospital here.

“Contact tracing is under way and all other employees will also undergo Covid-19 testing. Those found to have been in close contact with the patient had been instructed to undergo a 14-day quarantine,” it said.

The statement added the temporary closure includes the services of its mobile van and truck services to allow sanitisation

Customers can opt for Puspakom’s other branches in Johor such as its Senai and Taman Daya branches for the inspection of private-owned vehicles, and Senai and Kluang branches for light-vehicles.

Puspakom added that for heavy-vehicle inspection, customers can head to the Pasir Gudang and Kluang branches.
