PETALING JAYA: Quill Automobiles has opened a body & paint centre here, enhancing BMW Group’s aftersales capabilities in Malaysia.
The 15,625 sq ft workshop, supplemented by 6,397 sq ft of office space, features 10 repair bays, two spray booths and four preparation bays.
A Car-O-Liner frame-alignment system and a dedicated mixing room support precise cosmetic and structural repairs.
The dealer's facility is staffed by 11 technicians trained in BMW-approved tools and diagnostic equipment to handle collision repair, paint restoration, wheel refurbishment and windscreen replacement.
The centre is equipped to service both internal-combustion and electric vehicles, with specialised infrastructure for high-voltage battery systems, carbon-fibre components and advanced material handling.

The centre caters to only BMW cars; MINIs are excluded.
Quill Automobiles joins BMW Group Malaysia’s approach to premium ownership that includes remote diagnostics via the My BMW App and in-vehicle interfaces, and covers up to six years of service under the BMW Service & Repair Inclusive programme.
Electric-vehicle owners benefit from an eight-year battery warranty and 24-hour roadside assistance.
The launch event included technical workshops led by BMW’s technical & EV expert training manager, covering repair techniques, colour-matching processes and electric-vehicle servicing protocols.

Quill Automobiles said the new centre is intended to deliver “factory-grade precision” and support BMW’s promise of consistent aftersales standards nationwide as exemplified by its "Relax. We Care" customer support promise
BMW Group Malaysia has also designated the Quill Automobiles facility as a training centre for body and paint technicians from its dealer network.
"With increased dedicated service bays, and our new state-of-the-art repair systems that provide the latest technology in vehicle restoration, we are equipped to handle everything from minor touch-ups to complex servicing with factory-grade precision," said Quill Automobiles dealer principal Alex Tang.
"Our goal is to ensure every vehicle that enters our workshop is returned to its owner in peak condition."
Also present at the event today were BMW Group Malaysia managing director Benjamin Nagel; its customer support director, Bruno Echtle; its corporate communications director, Sashi Ambihaipahan; BMW Asia Technology regional training centre director Joanne Goh; Quill Group executive director Datuk Michael Ong; its group managing director Datuk Dr Jennifer Low; and Quill Automobiles aftersales head Liew Sun Hoong.
The body & paint centre operates Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.30pm and on Saturdays from 8.30am to 1pm, at Lot 12, Jalan 51A/241, Seksyen 51A, 46100 Petaling Jaya.
