New to Kadjar is the 1.3-litre TCe turbo-petrol four with particulate filter, found also in the current Scénic, Captur and Mégane.

Developed with Daimler, the small engine is available in 103kW or 118kW tune, with a choice of manual or dual-clutch auto transmissions.

Kadjar's two-litre diesel engines have been upgraded with a selective catalytic reduction system, and gets a manual gearbox relaying the engine's bumped-up 85kW power to the front axle. A dual-clutch automatic will follow.
