This latest generation Zoe comes with increased power and range, host of engineering and technological enhancements and distinctive French styling.
Available variants are the R110 that delivers 80kW and 225Nm of torque, and the R135 that outputs 100kW and 245Nm of torque.
The R110 comes with on-the-road without insurance price of RM163,000 in Peninsular Malaysia, while the R135's price is estimated from RM175,000.
Both variants are equipped with Renault’s new 52kWh Z.E. 50 battery that provides a driving range up to 395km on the WLTP cycle that is 25% more than the previous generation battery without any increase in size.
The new Zoe can be charged through a DC CCS2 or an AC Type 2 connector.
With DC fast charging, the Zoe gets up to 145km driving range in 30 minutes, while an AC 22kW outlet fully charges the EV from 0-100% in three hours.
An AC 7.4kW charger will fully charge the Zoe from 0-100% in nine hours and 30 minutes.
The Zoe’s redesigned cabin features a wide 10-inch customisable full TFT instrument cluster and the Renault EASY LINK multimedia system with six speaker audio system.
The updated infotainment system also features a seven-inch central touchscreen with smartphone replication that is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Also used are ethical and sustainable materials in the interior featuring tactile textiles on key touch points.
Since its mass production launch in 2012, almost 380,000 units of the Zoe have been sold by the end of May.
