RHD version of Vinfast VF 6 SUV debuts in Indonesia

SURABAYA, Indonesia: VinFast is showcasing its right-hand drive VF 6 B-segment electric SUV (sport utility vehicle) for the first time in Indonesia, at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) Surabaya 2025.

In a statement, the Vietnamese automaker said it has the largest booth at the event.

At the exhibition, VinFast is also showcasing its range of electric vehicles (EVs), spanning the most popular segments: VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, and VF e34.

The VF 6 officially opened for sales in early May 2025, and is available in two trims – Eco and Plus – with starting prices of 396,995,000 IDR (RM103,061) and 451,600,000 IDR (RM117,237).

VinFast offers an attractive vehicle exchange and buy-back policy, offering up to 90% of the vehicle's value after 6 months and 70% after 3 years for all VinFast models in Indonesia.

"This policy provides customers with greater peace of mind when choosing a VinFast EV and the flexibility to upgrade their vehicle based on evolving needs," said VinFast.

VinFast's presence at IIMS Surabaya is part of its broader strategy to expand its distribution and service network nationwide.

The company has already established 20 authorised service centers, 25 third-party workshop and 22 dealerships in Indonesia, including 7 locations in East Java.

In Indonesia, VinFast owners can already enjoy free charging at V-GREEN-operated stations nationwide.

VinFast Indonesia CEO Kariyanto Hardjosoemarto shared, "Indonesia is currently one of the markets with the most diverse VinFast product portfolio and is the first market to feature the right-hand drive version of the VF 6."
