KUALA LUMPUR: Royal Enfield has officially launched the highly anticipated Classic 650 in Malaysia.
This expands its twin-cylinder line up with a model that blends retro aesthetics and modern engineering.
The Classic 650 has a 648cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin engine.
It produces 47hp at 7,250rpm and 52Nm of torque at 5,650rpm.
This bike comes with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip/assist clutch, promising refined and responsive performance.
The Classic 650 features 43mm telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks with preload adjustability, tuned for a comfortable, planted ride.
Braking is handled by a 320mm front disc and 300mm rear disc, both equipped with dual-channel ABS, ensuring confident stopping power.
Royal Enfield signature designs like tiger-eye headlamps, metal-spoked wheels, and a teardrop fuel tank further enhances the retro look of the bike.
The Classic 650 also includes modern conveniences such as LED lighting, a digital-analogue instrument cluster, and optional Tripper navigation.
Prices excluding registration and insurance are RM34,500 (Bruntingthorpe Blue and Vallam Red) and RM35,500 (Black Chrome).
