The feature enables users to activate the pump with one tap upon arrival at all Petronas stations nationwide, proceed to refuel and earn Mesra
points instantly.
The solution is now available to the first 1,000 registered Setel app users across the country, with a staggered rollout in the next two months.
Setel's new service comes in the wake of a separate tie-up between Shell and Touch n Go to make contactless refuelling a reality through the RFID tag.
Setel users who are interested to receive early bird access can opt-in by posting an Instagram Story or Tweet of their Dah Setel So Far page with the caption: “I want One-Tap Fuelling now”, tag @setel and include the #SetelOneTapFuelling hashtag.
