Sime Darby company to produce and distribute lubricants regionally

PETALING JAYA: UMW Lubetech Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sime Darby Bhd, has been appointed to exclusively manufacture and distribute GEP products via its authorised distributors nationwide and across South-East Asia.

UMW Lubetech will be launching its latest product line-up, GEP coolant and brake fluid, to complement its range of gear oil under the brand.

A press statement said the GEP product line-up was set to provide the market another source of high quality automotive products.

This marked a significant milestone for UMW Lubetech, reinforcing its position as a leader in the automotive lubricant sector in Malaysia, it added.

UMW manufacturing and engineering director Anas Nasrun Mohd Osman said the collaboration would enable customers to use automotive lubricants that improves performance and efficiency.
