PENANG: BYD Malaysia and Sime Motors have opened BYD Mansion Macalister in the heart of George Town, Penang.
Sime Motors says it is a meticulously restored heritage property transformed into the brand’s northern flagship showroom.
"It blends local culture with modern EV (electric vehicle) innovation to create a premium customer experience," says Sime Motors, the official distributor of BYD cars in Malaysia.
The official launch was graced by Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow and H’ng Mooi Lye, who is the Penang State Executive Councillor for Local Government and Town and Country Planning.
The occasion also celebrated the 5,000th BYD owner in the northern region.
