Singapore Motor Show 2020: Porsche Cayenne Coupé introduced

SINGAPORE: Porsche at the Singapore Motorshow (2020) launched its Cayenne Coupé sport utility vehicle (SUV).

Sporting the iconic 911's flyline, the SUV also comes featuring an adaptive rear spoiler - a world's first for SUVs, as part of the German sports car builder's Porsche Active Aerodynamics that extends upwards by 135mm at speeds above 90kph for greater driving stability.

Other highlights include a rear bench with the characteristics of two individual seats, and two roof concepts - a panoramic fixed glass roof fitted as standard, or a carbon roof as an optional extra.

Seen here in Lava Orange, this German SUV is being offered with three engine variants starting with a 340hp turbocharged V6 mated to a standard eight-speed Tiptronic S transmission that helps it accelerate from 0 to 100kph in 6.0 seconds (with Sport Chrono Package).

Also available is the 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 for the Cayenne S Coupé producing 440hp to drop its acceleration time to 5.0 seconds flat.

For the range-topping Cayenne Turbo Coupé, a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 lives under the hood and produces 550hp to help it complete its century sprint in 3.9 seconds.

The Cayenne Coupé will be priced without accessories from SGD$360,188 (RM1.1mil), the Cayenne S Coupé from SGD$450,188 (RM1.4mil) and the Cayenne Turbo Coupé from SGD$621,888 (RM1.9mil).
