Socar offers Merdeka campaign discounts and rebates

KUALA LUMPUR: Car rental app Socar is offering booking discounts and driving period rebates, applicable to all users and all car models until 3 September 2023 under its "Malaysia Kita, Negara Kita" campaign.

Promotional codes, valid in over 1,000 locations until 3 September 2023, are:>

>MERDEKA3H: Enjoy 3 hours of complimentary drive time on bookings of 8 hours or more.
>MERDEKA35: Get 35% off when you embark on a minimum 2-day journey, capped at RM180.
>MERDEKA2D: Enjoy a rebate of 2 free days to your car rental for longer adventures, with a minimum 4-day booking, capped at RM400.

The codes are applicable to all users and car models on the app, with multiple redemptions allowed throughout the promotional period.

Also, on Socar official Facebook and Instagram accounts, an upcoming contest entitled "Tell Us You’re Malaysian Without Telling Us You’re Malaysian" will ask users to creatively express their Malaysian pride in a comment on the contest post on either Facebook or Instagram.

The top six most-liked comments across both platforms will each receive a complimentary Socar  Monthly Pass, which entitles them to a whopping 50% off on 99 drives!
