KUALA LUMPUR: From Oct 10, 2025, the first 50 customers who pre-order the SoloEra Solo 2 electric motorcycle can get a promotional price of RM5,599 (with a free Blueshark helmet).
Blueshark, Malaysia’s leading electric motorcycle brand, said the electric motorcycle's retail price would be later adjusted to RM6,399 (all prices are without the MARiiCas RM2,400 rebate which is on hiatus until further notice).
In-line with Blueshark and SoloEra’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, a five-year dual battery rental agreement at RM99 per month plus connectivity pack at RM10 per month is required (with unlimited warranty during the rental period for worry-free electromobility).
Pre-orders will be fulfilled by Blueshark and its authorised dealers nationwide within two months, depending on location and availability.
Shipping charges apply, with additional fees for East Malaysia.
Earlier, the company had seen the successful pre-launch promotion of the SoloEra Solo 1C which saw almost 9,000 pre-order bookings during the promotion period from July 15 to Sept 16 this year.

With the unparalleled success of the Solo 1C pre-launch promotion and commencement of our CKD (completely knocked down) operations in Malaysia which also includes the Solo 2, SoloEra is well-positioned to deliver outstanding value, higher performance and wider product appeal to Malaysian riders," said Blueshark Malaysia Sdn Bhd CEO Jeff Chong.
"Our immediate priority is now to ensure that we fulfil all our pre-orders as soon as possible. Product quality and customer satisfaction are paramount, which is why we set a waiting period of up to six months for our Solo 1C pre-orders, although the waiting period for the Solo 2 is expected to be under two months."

The SoloEra Solo 2 offers a top speed of up to 95kph and a maximum NEDC range of up to 140km on two second generation LFP batteries rated at a combined total output of 4,000W.
It can sprint from 0-50kph in under 7.2s, with direct charging from any standard 3-pin socket and battery swapping available from end-2025.
The Solo 2’s second-generation lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs are equipped with triple protection measures, including physical protection, multiple sensors, intelligent protection, and anti-loss protection, ensuring comprehensive battery safety.
With a thermal failure temperature point of 800°C, and a lifecycle of over 2,000 full recharge cycles, they are up to four times more durable than older lead acid, graphene or lithium-ion batteries and are up to four times more resistant to explosions caused by thermal temperature failures than conventional batteries.
Stopping power is provided by double hydraulic disc brakes with CBS (combined braking system), sporting front 25mm calipers and 27mm rear calipers.
The Solo 2 has an unladen vehicle weight of 100kg (132kg with dual batteries installed) and a maximum payload of 270kg.
The Solo 2 is also eminently suitable for gig-work, with a removable pillion rider seat and cargo rails already installed.
A seat height of 760mm and ground clearance of 160mm provides for a comfortable ride, with conventional telescopic front forks (440mm length, 65mm travel) and dual-ring, conventional rear shock absorbers (310mm length with 60mm travel) while tyre sizes are 100/80/16 (front) and 110/80/14 (rear).
Available with four riding modes including a Motor Assist Mode, the Solo 2 is also app-enabled, with mobile app-to-bike wireless connectivity for smart features like vehicle status and telematics, a seven-inch LED screen, Bluetooth smart key remote entry and locking, anti-theft system (which triggers an alarm when the vehicle is disturbed or the rear wheel rotates while the vehicle is locked) and a Find My Vehicle function.
The Solo 2 will be available in three attractive colourways – Stardust Blue, Eclipse Gold, and Orion Grey, and will be locally assembled by EP Manufacturing Berhad (EPMB) at its Glenmarie facility alongside the Solo 1C.
