PETALING JAYA: Boon Siew Honda has swung into action with the launch of the new Honda ADV160 Spider-Man Edition.
Hot on the heels of the standard model’s recent debut, this Marvel-themed special edition is strictly limited to just 300 units nationwide.
Priced at RM14,149 (excluding road tax,registration and insurance), the special edition will be available at authorised Honda Impian X and selected dealer nationwide from Aug 3.
The model carries a two-year or 20,000km manufacturer's warranty, whichever comes first.
The Spider-Man livery on the bike features custom stripes and iconic superhero motifs.
The unit comes packed with tech, including a 5-inch TFT display and Honda RoadSync connectivity for hands-free calls and navigation.
Meanwhile, powerplant of the adventure-styled scooter is Honda’s eSP+ engine, which achieves Malaysia Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV) certification.
The safety technology is equally robust, boasting Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), ABS, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), and a top-tier MyMAP 5-Star safety rating.
Practical features like a 30-litre underseat storage bay, an adjustable windscreen, and a low seat height are standard.
Each of the 300 buyers will also receive a premium Spider-Man gift set.
This includes an LED thermos flask, a custom fuel tank cap, and a uniquely numbered Owner’s Certificate Card (numbered 2 to 301) to cement its collector status.
The ADV160 Spider-Man Edition is making its first public appearance at the Marvel's Spider-Man World of Webs pop up at Sunway Carnival Mall, Penang, running from July 16 July to Aug 2.
Additionally, the Special Edition bike will also be displayed at selected TGV/GSC cinemas in Kedah, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Johor Bahru from July 30 to Aug 13 in conjunction with the release of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" in cinemas.
