KUALA LUMPUR: Be sure to visit the StarCarSifu Auto Show 2026 this weekend at the ground-floor concourse of Mid Valley Megamall, where attractive promotions, special deals and test drives await.
Today's visitors stand the chance to interact with Hong Kong TVB actor Tsui Wing at the "Fan Meet and Greet Experience", with Malaysian radio host Jie Ying as a special guest at the Chery booth located at the East Atrium from 12pm to 1pm.
Running until tomorrow, the auto show is open from 10am to 10pm daily, with free admission.
Those who book a vehicle during the show also stand a chance to win cash vouchers worth up to RM5,000 under the Book & Win campaign.
Visitors can explore trendy cars with powertrains including internal combustion engines, hybrids and battery electric vehicles.
Among the participating automotive players are BYD, Chery, GWM, Jetour, Leapmotor, Nissan and Proton.
Car enthusiasts can get up close with the latest sedans, electric vehicles (EVs), sports utility vehicles (SUVs) and multi-purpose vehicles (MPVs), among others.

Among the visitors yesterday was 61-year-old housewife Fadzilah Hamdan, who was taking a closer look at the ORA 5 HEV (hybrid electric vehicle).
"I like SUVs. I prefer EVs as they are powerful, quiet and better for the environment. I think the compact size of the ORA 5 HEV is suitable for lady drivers," said Fadzilah, who added that the auto show has a good selection of automotive brands and cars, all under one roof.
"It is quite convenient and I do not need to visit different car showrooms," she added.
Meanwhile, a 67-year-old businessman, who wished to be known only as Lee, was checking out the ORA 5 HEV and GWM TANK 300 HEV.
"The designs look nice and the interiors have a premium feel," said Lee.
He added that he may consider hybrid cars as he has concerns about the availability of public EV charging points.
Another visitor, a 67-year-old retiree, who wished to be known only as Chan, was checking out the Chery Tiggo 9 together with his friends.
"We are here to look and do car comparisons. The technology, features and prices - especially the Chinese models - of the cars here are quite attractive. The Jetour T2 is an attractive model for me," he said.
"The location is good and we can take our time to get a hands-on experience with the cars here," Chan added.

Meanwhile, insurance agent Chris Lau, 33, took an interest in the GWM TANK 300 HEV.
"I like SUVs and prefer hybrids as they are more fuel economical. There are many interesting models here," she said.
Leapmotor is showcasing the C10 PLUS, which combines premium features, impressive performance and a long driving range.
The D-segment SUV is available from RM129,000 after rebates.
Meanwhile, the all-electric Leapmotor B10 C-segment SUV is priced at RM107,800 for the Life variant and RM118,800 for the Design variant.
Visitors can also check out the Chery Tiggo 9 flagship premium SUV, which combines luxury and intelligent technology.
There is also the Tiggo 7 PHEV, a versatile electrified SUV that blends dynamic styling with everyday functionality.
Chery Malaysia is offering exclusive promotions available only at the auto show.
The special promotional prices, on the road without insurance, are RM80,000 for the Tiggo Cross Turbo; RM99,800 for the Chery O5; RM99,800 for the Tiggo 7 Pro; RM109,800 for the Tiggo 7 PHEV; and RM138,800 for the Tiggo 8 PHEV.
The Tiggo 9 is priced from RM166,800, with a seven-year vehicle warranty and 10-year engine warranty.
Customers who book a Chery vehicle during the auto show will enjoy free exclusive official merchandise, special Merdeka x CarSifu rebates and promotional offers, attractive financing packages and additional ownership benefits on selected models.
Meanwhile, the Jetour line-up includes the 1.5-litre turbocharged VT9 seven-seater SUV, priced from RM118,800, and the C-segment five-seater Dashing SUV, priced from RM109,800.
Jetour also has the rugged-looking five-seater T1 urban SUV, priced at RM129,800 for the 1.5L TGDi 2WD and RM146,800 for the 2.0L TGDi XWD.
The first 2,000 customers who register their T1 will receive a RM2,000 rebate, with financing rates from as low as 1.68%.
The 2.0-litre turbocharged Jetour T2 adventure SUV is the brand's new flagship model, priced at RM156,800.
A cash rebate of RM2,000 is offered for the first 3,000 T2 registrations.
Visitors to GWM Malaysia's display can enjoy free coffee and other activities.
GWM Malaysia's latest electrified offerings include the TANK 300 HEV and HAVAL H6 HEV.
Test drives are available for selected models, including the WEY G9 Hi4 PHEV and TANK 500 HEV.
Visitors who take a test drive will receive a GWM towel, while those who book a vehicle at the show can take home a GWM tumbler.
Among the highlights is the soon-to-be-launched ORA 5 HEV, a compact urban crossover with a driving range of more than 1,100km.
At the Proton booth, visitors can check out the new Saga, X50 B-segment SUV and S70 C-segment sedan.
They can also get behind the wheel for a test drive and enjoy exclusive auto show promotions and giveaways.
Other highlights include Proton e.MAS models such as the all-electric e.MAS 5 and e.MAS 7, as well as the e.MAS 7 PHEV.
Another all-electric mid-sized SUV, the new rear-wheel-drive BYD Atto 3 Premium variant, is priced at RM138,800 and offers a range of 510km (WLTP).
Meanwhile, the seven-seater Nissan Serena e-Power MPV comes in five variants, starting from RM154,800, with its e-Power drivetrain combining an electric motor with a 1.4-litre petrol engine.
