Subaru Australia launches WRX AWD Club Spec Evo: 75 units only

SYDNEY: Subaru Australia will introduce a special limited-edition variant inspired by the enthusiast heritage of the WRX — the Subaru WRX AWD Club Spec Evo.

Limited to just 75 vehicles for the Australian market, the WRX AWD Club Spec Evo builds on the highly specified WRX AWD tS Spec B, introducing a series of exclusive enhancements designed for driving purists.

The limited-edition variant marks Subaru Australia's milestone of delivering the 60,000th Subaru WRX.

The WRX AWD Club Spec Evo will be offered exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission, reinforcing its emphasis on driver engagement.

The special edition will be offered solely in the striking Sunrise Yellow exterior.

Subaru WRX AWD Club Spec Evo highlights:

  • Exclusive Sunrise Yellow exterior colour
  • Club Spec Evo side decals on rear doors
  • 19-inch matte black alloy wheels
  • Recaro sports bucket seats (driver and front passenger) in Ultrasuede with leather-look accents
  • Yellow and black seat trim with yellow contrast stitching
  • Club Spec Evo interior badge featuring individual limited-edition vehicle numbering

The Club Spec Evo name pays tribute to Subaru’s history of producing enthusiast-focused WRX special editions.

Subaru Australia general manager Scott Lawrence said the limited-edition celebrates both the milestone and loyal WRX community in Australia.

“Reaching 60,000 WRX sales in Australia is a significant milestone for Subaru and a testament to the enduring connection Australians have with this iconic performance nameplate, “said Lawrence.

“The WRX AWD Club Spec Evo celebrates that heritage. With a manual-only configuration, exclusive Sunrise Yellow finish and distinctive design details, it’s a special model created for the enthusiasts who have loved and supported WRX for generations.”
