PETALING JAYA: Naza Eastern Motors, the official distributor of Suzuki in Malaysia, has strengthened its lineup with the launch of the Jimny AllGrip Plus, Jimny Rhino Plus, and a new Fronx Sport range-topper.
The latest introductions are said to help enhance practicality and modern technology to meet today's driving needs while maintaining the brand's signature driving character and versatility.
Starting with the rugged and compact 4x4 Jimny AllGrip Plus with a 1.5-litre (K15B) petrol engine that gets priced on-the-road without insurance at RM158,900.
Meanwhile, the Jimny Rhino Plus gets tagged at RM173,900.
The Fronx Sport comes in at RM130,888, while the standard Fronx gets repriced to RM118,888 from its initial offering of RM147,888.
Colour options for the AllGrip Plus include Kinetic Yellow with Bluish Black Pearl, Chiffon Ivory with Bluish Black Pearl, Jungle Green, Medium Grey, Bluish Black Pearl, and Pure White Pearl.
Meanwhile, the Jimny Rhino Plus is available in three colours, namely Pure White Pearl, Kinetic Yellow, and Chiffon Ivory.
The standard Fronx is being made available in Rising Orange with Cool Black, Ice Grayish Blue with Cool Black, Savanna Ivory with Cool Black, Pearl Mellow Deep Red, Cool Black, Pearl Snow White, and Magma Gray.
The Suzuki Fronx Sport is available in two exclusive exterior colour options of Pearl Snow White and Cool Black.
For coverage, the Jimnys are accompanied by a three-year or 100,000km warranty (whichever comes first).
The Fronx Sport gets a five-year or 100,000km battery warranty (whichever comes first).
Although the Jimny AllGrip Plus is still powered by a 1.5-litre engine with 100hp and 130Nm of torque that's managed by a four-speed automatic, it now possesses a host of added features that include Front and rear parking sensors with clearance sonar, electrically foldable and heated side mirrors, adaptive cruise control and a larger 9.0-inch display audio system.
Safety has also been enhanced with the inclusion of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as a Reverse camera with millimetre-wave radar, Dual Sensor Brake Support II (DSBS II), Lane Departure Warning/Prevention and Weaving Alert, Automatic High Beam, Emergency Stop Signal and added Side and curtain airbags.
A step up is the more lifestyle-oriented Jimny Rhino Plus that gets upsized 15-inch wheels, spare tyre cover with Rhino logo, exclusive bumper under-garnish, side under-garnish, door visors as well as red front and rear mud flaps for visual differentiation.
The range-topping Fronx Sport that's fully-imported from Indonesia stands out over the standard Fronx with a new front lip, rear spoiler, rear bumper kit, side skirts, left and right side stickers, roof top wrap, and 17-inch alloys fitted with Continental UltraContact UC7 tyres.
Also included is a special painting for the front lip, rear diffuser, side lip and rear spoiler before fitting front and rear Digital Video Recorder (DVR), and door visors.
