KUALA LUMPUR: The new Suzuki SV-7 GX was teased at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026, introducing a road-focused sport-tourer inspired by the Suzuki GSX-S1000GX.
It is powered by Suzuki's 645cc 90-degree V-twin engine, shared with the Suzuki V-Strom 650.
The SV-7 GX delivers 73hp at 8,500rpm and 64Nm of torque at 6,800rpm.
Power is channelled through a six-speed gearbox equipped with quickshifter.
The SV-7 GX features three ride modes - Sport (A), Road (B) and Rain (C) alongside with traction control and ABS as standard.

Suspension is handled by a 41mm telescopic fork with 120mm of travel and a rear monoshock offering 129mm of travel.
Braking comes via twin front discs and a single 240mm rear disc.
The SV-7 GX wet weight is 210kg, and it also comes with the 795 mm seat height, a 17-litre fuel tank, a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and 17-inch wheels.
Pricing has yet to be announced, though the bike is expected to reach showrooms in the fourth quarter of 2026.
However, advance bookings are accepted by authorised Suzuki dealers nationwide.
