KUCHING: Tesla Malaysia has launched a new experience centre at Lot G43, The Spring Shopping Mall, Kuching.
Model 3 - Malaysia’s best-selling electric sedan , and Model Y L – the latest six seater SUV (sport utility vehicle) are on display at the new experience centre.
As of early 2026, more than 80% Tesla owners in East Malaysia are empowered by home charging to charge at their convenience.
More Tesla charging stations are coming soon in Sarawak.
Tesla owners in East Malaysia can also enjoy mobile services and schedule a visit at Tesla Approved Bodyshop (TAB) for service appointments.
Meanwhile, Grok, an AI assistant built by xAI, will be available through over-the-air (OTA) updates for Tesla owners across Malaysia.
Simply say ‘Hey Grok’ or long-press the voice button on the steering wheel to activate.
Grok is giving more intuitive interaction with the driver and passengers, including:
- Trip planning: ask Grok to plan the trip with multiple locations via voice command, and owners can even cancel or change the route in the middle of the journey.
- Locations search and navigation: check nearby Supercharging or Destination Charging stations, restaurants, shopping malls, banks, and public toilets during your road trip.
- Vehicle alerts explanation: get reference explanation and suggested solutions from Grok whenever you see an alert or warning on the screen.
- Intelligent voice chats: customise voice, tone and manner of Grok according to individual needs. Be it learning a new language or storytelling for your kids, Grok will be your personalised AI assistant.
