KUALA LUMPUR: Tesla Malaysia will continue to offer its all-electric vehicles at 2025's starting prices although government tax breaks for electric vehicle are no longer available from Jan 1.
The Model 3 sedan lineup will maintain its price starting from RM169,000, while Model Y, the world’s best-selling EV, will have its starting price unchanged from RM195,450.
The company said this was following ongoing investments in charging infrastructure and customer access nationwide.
In reaffirming its commitment to Malaysia, Tesla said the country is an important market in its global mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
In support of the Malaysian Government’s green initiatives, Tesla is also investing steadily on growing its charging network and infrastructures across Malaysia, currently operating 18 Supercharging stations and 17 Destination Charging locations.
Consisting of 76 Superchargers and 79 Destination Chargers, the network supports long-distance travel and daily convenience alongside growing home charging options.
More charging stations are coming soon to further strengthen the seamless and comprehensive Tesla ownership experience.
In addition, the company has set up a Tesla Pop-Up in Vivacity Megamall in Kuching, allowing visitors to get behind the wheels of a Tesla first-hand and explore the latest EV technology.
Exclusive January incentives are available in Kuching while stocks last.
Customers who place orders before Jan 15 will receive an official Tesla headrest.
Owners who successfully refer two customers who purchase and take delivery in January will receive a limited-edition colour-matched Wall Connector faceplate, in addition to RM1,000 in Tesla Credits through the Refer & Earn programme which owner can earn RM500 credits per successful referral .
Buyers nationwide can continue to customise their Tesla at the same starting prices, with deliveries possible from February, and enjoy up to RM2,000 off where eligible, alongside Refer & Earn benefits.
