Tesla Malaysia offering RM10,000 off to ICE car owners if they switch to its EVs

PETALING JAYA: Here's another way Tesla Malaysia is trying to boost sales amid fierce competition from Chinese car makers.

It is rewarding owners of internal combustion-engined (ICE) cars if they buy its electric vehicles (EVs).

Under its "EV Switcher Program" promotion announced on Saturday, it is giving a RM10,000 discount on the Model 3 and Y for those who trade in their ICE cars.

Tesla Malaysia said it would offer instant online valuations for trade-ins, allowing customers to assess their vehicle's worth.

For a limited time, customers trading in their private ICE vehicles can receive an additional RM10,000 off the purchase of a new Tesla.
