To increase Tesla's appeal and reach in the local market, the company recently adjusted the price of Model 3 and Model Y downwards to make the vehicles even more affordable.

Model 3 and Model Y are now priced starting from RM181,000 and RM191,000 respectively and Tesla electric vehicles are eligible for full import and exercise duties exemption, and 100% road tax exemption.

Tesla is also expanding its charging network in Malaysia to offer a seamless ownership experience.

With the recent launch of the first V4 Supercharging station in Southeast Asia at IOI City Mall and IOI Mall Puchong, Tesla has established 10 Supercharging stations with 48 Superchargers and 11 Destination Charging stations with 57 Destination Chargers in less than a year since its entry to Malaysia.

This, the company said, showed that the comprehensive Tesla charging network is expanding.
