KUALA LUMPUR: MG Motor dealerships are having test drive events for the new MGS5 EV – the only rear-wheel drive (RWD) B-segment EV SUV in Malaysia.
Early access promotion for the first 500 buyers include RM6,000 savings (starting from just RM109,900) and a free 7kW AC Wallbox charger for convenient home charging.
The MGS5 EV is offered in three variants, namely COM (49kWh) – RM115,900; COM Long Range (62kWh) – RM125,900 and LUX Long Range (62kWh) – RM135,900.
Billed as the most value-packed EV in its segment, the MGS5 offers a blend of sleek design, best-in-class agility, and engaging handling.
“The S5 EV was engineered to deliver more than just electric driving experience – it’s about driving enjoyment and segment-defining performance,” said SAIC Motor Malaysia managing director Emory QiFeng.
