BANGKOK: After Honda in Thailand recently launched the Civic hatchback, it's now unveiled a new Civic Red in sedan form.

Dubbed the Civic Red, it comes draped in Rallye Red and is offered in two variants of a naturally-aspirated 141hp 1.8 EL and 173hp 1.5 Turbo RS - both engines are mated to a continuously variable transmission.

The 1.8-litre variant will roll on 16-inch wheels with 215/55 series, while the more powerful 1.5 turbo RS gets larger 17-inch wheels with lower profile 215/50 series rubbers.

The Civic is also offered in five other colours of Cosmic Blue Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, White Orchid Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic and Modern Steel Metallic.

The 34th Thailand International Motor Expo will be open to the public from Nov 30 to Dec 11 at Impact Arena, Muangthong Thani from 12pm to 10pm daily.
