Thieves make off with almost RM1mil worth of cars in KL workshop break-in
By THE STAR | 30 October 2022KUALA LUMPUR: Car thieves ran off with nearly RM1mil in cars after breaking into a car workshop here.
Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Amihizam Abdul Shukor, in a statement today, said that a workshop in Jalan Damansara was broken into on Oct 29.
"The suspect was believed to have entered the building by breaking the padlock of the main entrance. Among the cars stolen included a Nissan Skyline GTR Prestige, a Mercedes-Benz E200 K and a Toyota Land Cruiser.
"All of the stolen cars belonged to customers and the vehicles were already repaired and were awaiting pickup. The CCTV footage of the shop is still being reviewed," he said.
